Hotel Five44 - New York

Imagine expecting a clean room but finding spots on the sheets and a broken window lock! I woudl ve really appreciated a room upgrade considering the circumstances. Almost thought to give a good review, but just couldn't.

Particularly good and stunning location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. Close vicinity, just 20 minutes on foot to 50th Street subway station, was a big plus.

There was elevator missing.

The setting was excellent, just off the centre at a reasonable cost to stay and midtown attractions : Times Square...

There was something as lift missing.

The hotel location in the vibrant Hell's Kitchen area made it easy to explore nearby restaurants and attractions, capturing the essence of New York.

The location offers easy access to some great spots around town. Rooms are comfortable with a good layout.

The air conditioning system struggled to keep the temperature steady as it cycled on and off. The coffee machine in the room didn't come with any supplies-no coffee, filters, or extra seating for two at the dining table. Water pressure in the shower turned out to be lower than expected, frustrating.

I was happy, the deluxe queen room I booked came with shower and fridge. The location was amazing and excellent - ease of access to Hells Kitchen Park.

The staff was super accommodating, helping with power sockets and phone chargers. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Having a kitchenette was a lifesaver for our meals. It's a short walk to Times Square, a major plus.

The bed was comfy, but the aircon was noisy and annoying.

It was a smart choice for a fleeting pause in New York with good value. The staff helped out with electrical issues I had, unexpected and appreciated. Bring your own snacks since supplies may be limited at breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi was reliable, but no pets allowed was inconvenient. Air-conditioned rooms helped.

Loved the clean room with a kitchenette. It made cooking meals easy and convenient. The staff were accommodating and even helped with my phone charger. The location is great. A 10-minute walk to Times Square. The noise from outside was disruptive at night. Water pressure in the shower was low, a bit frustrating. The lack of daily cleaning. Good value for money considering the price in NYC.

I recently stayed for 6 nights in a Deluxe Queen Room, and it truly felt like home! The kitchenette was well-equipped, allowing us to cook some meals, and the room was spotlessly clean every few days. However, I found the beds a little smaller than expected. I'd absolutely choose this place again for the fantastic experience!

great location but needs better amenities

The hotel staff was accommodating. They quickly provided extra towels and toilet paper upon request. The room included a small kitchen, nice for easy meal preparation . I appreciated the quiet atmosphere.

The lack of certain amenities felt a bit limiting.
